Daily Imroz is not part of, owned by or affiliated with the Imroz newspaper group or any other media house. We have no political affiliation, and no government, party or advertiser has a say in what we publish.

Where our news comes from

We report from two kinds of material only:

• Official sources. These include press releases and statements from Pakistan's federal and provincial governments, ministries and the armed forces' media wing; state news agencies; sports governing bodies such as the ICC and the Pakistan Cricket Board; and official agencies of other governments in the region. Every story names its original source, and when a source is run by a government we say so.
• Our own reporting. These are stories our team reports first-hand.

We do not reproduce or rewrite other news outlets' stories.

How a story is made

Our software gathers official releases as they are issued. An AI assistant prepares a first draft in our house style. Every story is then checked against the original, edited and approved by a named editor before it is published. The editor's name appears on every story.
