The Doha Film Festival has introduced a paid accreditation programme, allowing film enthusiasts and industry professionals to customize their festival experience from November 19 to 27, 2026.

The programme offers two accreditation options: Festival Accreditation for dedicated film fans and creative community members, and Industry Accreditation, which provides additional access to professional programming and networking opportunities, Qatar News Agency (QNA) said in a statement.

Accredited guests will have unlimited access to feature films, documentaries, and shorts from Qatar, the region, and worldwide, as well as DFF Talks with filmmakers, artists, and industry figures. They will also enjoy free or discounted tickets to select live music performances celebrating the connection between music and cinema.

The accreditation programme is open to applicants aged 18 and above, with limited access available, encouraging early applications. Accredited guests will receive a booking code to book up to 10 advance tickets online and visit a physical box office for additional tickets.

"Cinema is at its most powerful when it brings people together, sparks new perspectives and creates connections that transcend borders," said Fatma Hassan Alremaihi, CEO of Doha Film Institute and Director of Doha Film Festival.

The Doha Film Festival is supported by key partners, including Katara, Media City Qatar, Film Committee, and Visit Qatar. The festival brings together filmmakers, audiences, and industry voices from the region and beyond to honour original storytelling and important voices in film.

The Doha Film Festival has become a prominent event in the region, showcasing a diverse range of films and providing a platform for filmmakers to connect with audiences.

The accreditation programme aims to enhance the festival experience, allowing attendees to engage with creative minds and become active participants in the celebration of film.

The festival's focus on cinema and its power to bring people together and spark new perspectives highlights its commitment to promoting cultural exchange and understanding through film.
