Qatar's Amir Hosts Dinner for French President Macron

Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani hosted a dinner for French President Emmanuel Macron at Lusail Palace, Qatar's state news agency QNA reported, Qatar News Agency (QNA) said in a statement.

The Amir delivered a speech welcoming President Macron and emphasized the depth of Qatar-France partnership and the significance of the visit in strengthening cooperation. He expressed appreciation for the spirit of cordiality and mutual understanding during the visit and voiced confidence that the partnership will continue to flourish.

President Macron expressed gratitude to the Amir, praising the partnership and alignment of visions between the two countries. He highlighted ongoing cooperation, noting frequent high-level exchanges reflect dynamic coordination. Macron lauded the economic partnership, especially in technology, energy, and industry, and affirmed commitment to the "One Planet" Sovereign Wealth Funds initiative.

The banquet was attended by several high-profile officials, including the Amir's consort Sheikha Jowaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al-Thani, and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.
