vivo Y600 set to launch next week with 10,000mAh battery
vivo Y600 to debut on October 30 with a massive 10,000mAh battery and other impressive features.
The vivo Y600 is scheduled to launch in China on October 30, with pre-orders opening early next week, the GSM Arena has said.
The phone boasts a massive 10,000mAh battery, which has become a key selling point.
The device will be part of the existing Y600 series, which includes the Y600 Pro, Y600 Turbo, and Y600i. vivo has also revealed that the Y600 has set a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous livestream test of a smartphone, lasting 32 hours and 37 minutes on August 11.
The phone is expected to feature a dual-rear camera setup and a design similar to the recently launched vivo S2 FE.
According to a tipster, the vivo Y600 will be powered by the Dimensity 7300e chipset, feature a 50MP main rear camera, and offer an IP68 rating.
In terms of design, the Y600 will be available in two color options, including blue and gold. The phone's camera and battery specifications have generated significant interest, with some users weighing the importance of a massive camera for better photos against a bigger battery for more usage.
The vivo brand is known for producing smartphones with impressive specifications and affordable prices. The company's decision to launch the Y600 in China and potentially other markets will likely be closely watched by tech enthusiasts and industry analysts.
The smartphone market in China is highly competitive, with numerous brands vying for market share. vivo's focus on battery life and camera capabilities reflects the growing demand for devices that can keep up with users' increasingly heavy usage patterns.
