India Biggest Sponsor of Terrorism, says Pakistan Military Spokesperson
India is the biggest sponsor of terrorism in Pakistan, says DG ISPR

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), has accused India of being the primary sponsor of terrorism in Pakistan, the state broadcaster Radio Pakistan reported on Sunday.
The DG ISPR made these remarks during an interview with Reuters earlier this week.
He said the Afghan Taliban regime is acting as a proxy for India, while India is the prime contractor; the TTP and BLA are the proxies.
Lt Gen Chaudhry also mentioned the presence of ETIM, IMU, Al-Qaeda, and ISKP in Afghanistan.
He described Afghanistan as being run by a non-state actor, which he termed a regime rather than a state.
Pakistan is concerned about the use of non-state actors, militias, mercenaries, and armed groups to achieve objectives, he said.
The DG ISPR stated that multiple agencies and proxies have taken root in Afghanistan since the Soviet intervention.
Pakistan is engaging with Afghanistan, asking it not to support terrorism inside Pakistan and to stop harbouring terrorist leaders, he said.
Noor Wali Kharji, Bashir Zeb of BLA, and Gul Bahadur have been given refuge by the Afghan Taliban regime, he claimed.
Terrorist formations enter Pakistan from Afghanistan and are also provided weapons from there, he warned.
If the Afghan Taliban regime does not address Pakistan's concerns regarding terrorism, it will face serious consequences, he said.
The DG ISPR questioned the credibility of the Afghan Taliban regime at the international level.
He urged the international community to compel the Afghan regime to behave like a normal state and stop cultivating and producing drugs.
Pakistan's armed forces are fully capable of countering all threats from the Afghan regime, including those involving drones, he said.
Background
The relationship between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been strained in recent years, with Pakistan accusing Afghanistan of harbouring terrorist groups.
The Afghan Taliban regime has been in power since 2021, and its ties with Pakistan have been a major concern for the international community.
Regional Implications
The accusations made by Pakistan have significant implications for regional security, with India and Afghanistan being key players in the region.
The situation is being closely monitored by the international community, which is urging restraint and dialogue to resolve the issues.
