Arab League Denounces Houthi Militia Attacks on Saudi Arabia
Arab League condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia's King Fahd International Airport and Shaybah oil field

The Arab League has strongly denounced recent attacks by the Houthi militia on King Fahd International Airport and the Shaybah oil field in Saudi Arabia, which resulted in casualties, injuries, and damage to the targeted facilities, the news agency of Yemen's internationally recognised government Saba (Government) reported on Saturday.
The League's statement described these attacks as a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and a direct threat to its security, stability, and citizens' safety.
The repeated targeting of airports, oil facilities, and civilian infrastructure was seen as a serious escalation that jeopardizes civil aviation safety, energy security, and regional efforts to de-escalate tensions and achieve a political resolution to the Yemen crisis.
The Arab League expressed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for its measures to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
The League emphasized that Saudi Arabia's security is integral to Arab national security. It called on the international community to take responsibility for stopping these attacks and preventing their recurrence.
The League also extended its condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
The Houthi militia's attacks on Saudi Arabia are part of a broader conflict in Yemen, which has been ongoing since 2015. The conflict has resulted in significant humanitarian suffering and has had regional and international implications.
The Arab League's condemnation of the Houthi attacks highlights the regional concern over the escalation of violence in Yemen and its impact on neighboring countries.
