Disney unveils program for D23 Asia fan event in Singapore
Tickets for the June 2027 event at Marina Bay Sands go on sale in late November, with more details available online.
Programming details for a three-day fan event in Singapore were unveiled on Thursday, The Walt Disney Company said in a statement.
The event, D23 Asia, will run from June 25 to 27, 2027, at Marina Bay Sands and combine a daytime convention with nightly showcases on a stage called the Premiere Stage.
The June 25 session will be a studio showcase covering Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars, with announcements, footage and celebrity appearances.
The June 26 session will focus on Disney+, previewing upcoming Korean and Japanese series alongside new and returning streaming titles.
The final night will feature a concert called Disney Hits LIVE!, with Broadway performers, a live band and music from Disney and Pixar films.
Fans will be able to explore more than 15 immersive experiences inspired by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Disney+ and Hulu, the company said.
The convention will also include the Storytellers Stage for panels with creators, Talent Central for character meet-and-greets and the Spotlight Stage for live entertainment.
Shoppers can visit the D23 Marketplace, which will sell collectibles, apparel and accessories, and a Walt Disney Company Store booth with Asia-themed collections.
"We're creating an ultimate fan event specifically for Asia," said Carol Choi, executive vice president of The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific.
Tickets will go on sale in late November, and the company said updates are available at D23Asia.com and on Instagram under @D23Asia.
D23 is Disney's existing fan convention, and the Asia edition brings its format of panels, showcases and merchandise to Singapore.
