Drone attack kills at least three Colombian soldiers in Bolívar
Eight other soldiers were seriously hurt, and the army condemned the attack as a serious violation of international humanitarian law.

Three Colombian soldiers were killed and eight seriously injured on Sunday when explosive-laden drones targeted a military base in southern Bolívar, the army's First Division said in a statement.
The attack hit military facilities in the municipality of Santa Rosa, known as the Military Canton, the division said, and the drones had been modified to carry explosive devices.
Security protocols were activated immediately after the incident, and military personnel began assessing the damage and the full extent of the casualties.
Other military personnel were also affected and are receiving treatment at health facilities, the statement said.
The army condemned the attack and described it as a serious violation of international humanitarian law and human rights.
The First Division urged members of the public to provide timely information that could help authorities anticipate and prevent further violent incidents that threaten civilians and security forces.
Citizens were encouraged to report information through Colombia's anti-terrorism hotline.
Bolívar is one of Colombia's departments in the north of the country, and armed groups have carried out attacks on security forces in various regions for many years.
Drones have increasingly been used in such attacks in recent years, posing a growing challenge for troops and police stationed in rural areas.
