The England Men's cricket team will begin their 2027 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup campaign against Bangladesh in Windhoek, Namibia, on October 8, 2027, followed by a match against Sri Lanka at the same venue five days later. They will then face host nation South Africa in Gqeberha on October 16. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced the fixtures.

England's next match is against a qualifier in Harare on October 20, and they will return to Gqeberha to play New Zealand on October 23.

If England advances to the second phase of the tournament, their schedule includes matches in Centurion on October 27, Victoria Falls on October 30, Cape Town on November 2, Durban on November 5 and 8, and Gqeberha on November 11.

Fans can enter a ticket ballot until November 21 for a chance to buy tickets to their preferred matches.

The ECB also announced that Thomas Rew and Dan Lawrence will lead the T20 and ODI squads against West Indies A in St Kitts & Nevis. England Women A will play India Women A in T20, 50-over, and four-day cricket before Christmas.

The ECB has named Stephen Fleming and Brendon McCullum as part of their coaching staff for this winter's tours. Additionally, the ECB has launched a new Cricket For Teachers programme and a Secondary Countdown Cricket competition to support its goal of reaching over half of all state secondary schools by the end of 2028.

The ICC Men's Cricket World Cup is a premier international cricket tournament held every four years, featuring the top national teams competing for the championship. England will be looking to make a strong impression in the 2027 tournament, which will be hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.

The ECB's efforts to promote cricket in schools and communities are part of a broader strategy to grow the sport in England and Wales. The new programmes aim to increase participation and provide opportunities for young players to develop their skills.
