Pakistan lost opener Fakhar Zaman early while chasing a target of 242 against England in the fourth match of the ODI tri-series at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.

Pakistan were 18-1 after 4.4 overs, needing another 224 runs from 45.2 overs to win the match.

Saim Ayub was unbeaten on six off 10 deliveries, with Babar Azam and the remaining batters yet to come to the crease.

Earlier, Shaheen Shah Afridi took four wickets as England were bowled out for 241 in 46.4 overs after opting to bat first.

Ben Duckett top-scored for England with 105 off 111 balls, hitting 10 fours and two sixes. Sam Curran contributed 42, while Gus Atkinson remained unbeaten on 36 to help England post a competitive total after an early collapse.

Shaheen returned figures of 4-46, while debutant Razaullah claimed 2-38. Arafat Minhas also took two wickets for 26 runs.

England endured a disastrous start as Shaheen dismissed Tom Banton and Joe Root before Harry Brook was run out for one, reducing the visitors to 19-3.

Duckett and Curran then added 93 runs for the fifth wicket to steady the innings before Pakistan's bowlers struck back to restrict England to 241.
