Trump Announces Imminent Meeting Between Putin and Zelenskyy
US President Donald Trump says meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to be arranged soon

A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would be arranged very soon, US President Donald Trump announced, Turkey's state-run news agency Anadolu Agency reported on Wednesday.
The meeting would involve both presidents, although details on the timing, location, and format were not provided.
This development comes after US-mediated peace negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv earlier this year, with three rounds of talks in January and February.
Trump also discussed the situation with Iran, claiming that Tehran wants to reach an agreement with the US but is delaying negotiations, possibly until after the November 3 midterm elections.
When asked about potential additional US strikes on Iran after the elections, Trump declined to rule out the possibility, saying anything is possible.
The conflict between Washington and Tehran began with US-Israeli strikes on Iran in late February, triggering a wider regional conflict.
The situation remains unresolved despite a ceasefire and an agreement to finalize a peace deal, with Trump's administration maintaining a tough stance on Iran.
The relationship between Russia and Ukraine has been strained since the start of the war in 2022, with multiple rounds of negotiations taking place.
The proposed meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy would be a significant step towards resolving the conflict, although the outcome remains uncertain.
