Bangladesh's Litton Das Ruled Out of Tri-Series with Hip Injury
Bangladesh's ODI skipper Litton Das out of tri-series with right hip joint injury
Bangladesh's ODI captain Litton Das has been ruled out of the tri-series against Afghanistan and Zimbabwe due to a right hip joint injury, the International Cricket Council (ICC) said in a statement.
In his absence, Tawhid Hridoy is leading the Bengal Tigers.
Das had taken over as Bangladesh's full-time ODI skipper earlier this year, replacing Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
Bangladesh's first match in the tri-series is against Zimbabwe, who won the toss and chose to bat first.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz is also unavailable for Bangladesh due to a fever.
