Kirill Dmitriev, a Russian presidential representative, believes those advocating for military conflicts will be defeated.

Kirill Dmitriev, a top Russian official, has expressed his conviction that advocates of military conflicts will ultimately face defeat, Russia's state news agency TASS reported on Wednesday.

Dmitriev, who serves as the Russian presidential special representative for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries and CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), made these remarks in response to criticism from Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

Frederiksen had criticized Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store for their recent phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which she claimed was not coordinated with European allies.

In a post on social media platform X, Dmitriev wrote that Frederiksen "deserves to lose Greenland," adding that "warmongers will lose" and "dialogue will prevail."

The exchange between Dmitriev and Frederiksen comes amid heightened tensions between Russia and several European countries, particularly in the wake of Russia's actions in Ukraine.

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) plays a significant role in promoting investment and economic cooperation between Russia and foreign countries, often focusing on strategic partnerships and development projects.

The incident highlights the ongoing divisions and tensions within the international community, particularly between Russia and Western nations, over issues of conflict, diplomacy, and cooperation.

The diplomatic interactions between Russian leaders and their counterparts in Finland, Norway, and other European countries are closely watched, as they can influence broader geopolitical dynamics in the region.
