Up to eight players could make their international debuts on home soil, including Mahli Beardman and Oliver Peake in the one-day squad.

Australia's selectors named fresh-faced white-ball squads on Monday for their home series against England, Cricket Australia said in a statement.

Up to eight players could make their first international appearances on home soil when the teams meet in three one-day internationals and five Twenty20 Internationals, starting Nov. 13 in Perth.

Pace bowler Mahli Beardman, batter Oliver Peake and allrounders Jack Edwards and Liam Scott were all named in the one-day squad.

Nikhil Chaudhary and Joel Davies join Beardman and Edwards in the T20 squad, and wicketkeepers Lachlan Shaw and Sam Harper are in line for debuts.

All of Beardman, Peake, Edwards, Chaudhary, Scott and Davies have made white-ball debuts during a winter of series in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Mitchell Marsh remains captain of the limited-overs sides, while Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood have been rested after the Test series in South Africa.

Travis Head, Matthew Renshaw, Cameron Green, Alex Carey, Josh Inglis and Cooper Connolly were included in the one-day squad but will not play the T20 leg.

Selection panel chair George Bailey said Beardman was on the selectors' radar to develop into an all-format player.

"Mahli Beardman's recent performances for Australia A were impressive and we are incredibly excited for his return to the national team," Bailey said.

Beardman made his international debut last January in Lahore, but a back stress fracture cut short his season before he starred for Australia A in India in October.

Jake Fraser-McGurk and Mitch Owen return to the T20 side after long absences, and Bailey said their ball-striking could be a point of difference.

Shaw captained NSW's One-Day Cup side this summer, and Bailey said he has a powerful game that will impact the T20 format.

Nathan Ellis is recovering from a side strain and misses the one-day leg but will return for the T20 series, while Matt Short is sidelined for about five weeks after a hip procedure.

The first one-day international is on Nov. 13 at Perth Stadium, followed by matches at Adelaide Oval on Nov. 15 and Bellerive Oval in Hobart on Nov. 18, with the first T20 at the MCG on Nov. 21.

Australia's squads will next face a four-match Test series against New Zealand, which begins in Perth on Dec. 9.
