Brazilian youth match ends with 53 red cards after brawl
The referee's report listed 43 players, eight coaching staff and two club board members as sent off, and the total appears to exceed the previous record of 36.

53 players, coaches and officials were sent off during an under-20 semifinal in Uberlandia, Brazil, on Sunday, Turkey's state-run news agency Anadolu Agency reported.
Brazilian media, citing the match report, said the total exceeds the world record for red cards in a single game.
Referee Fernando Patrick Drosghic Modesto's report named 43 players, eight members of the coaching staff and two Uberlandia board members as dismissed.
The brawl began in stoppage time, after Mamore scored to make it 3-1 in the first leg of the Minas Gerais state second-division semifinal, played at the Parque do Sabia Stadium.
Local reports said a Mamore player taunted the Uberlandia bench while celebrating the goal, which set off the confrontation.
The referee said the chaos made it impossible to show the red cards on the pitch, and he ended the match because security could not be guaranteed.
He also said a police report had been filed over threats made against him.
The previous record recognized by Guinness World Records was 36 red cards, shown in a February 2011 fifth-division match in Argentina between Atletico Claypole and Victoriano Arenas.
Guinness World Records has not publicly confirmed the new figure.
Uberlandia later announced it would forfeit the second leg, which sends Mamore through to the final.
