England beat Western Australia by 92 runs in a one-day practice match at the WACA Ground on Saturday, Cricket Australia said in a statement.

England made 251 all out in 48 overs, with Ben Duckett scoring 59 off 66 balls and Liam Dawson unbeaten on 44.

Western Australia were dismissed for 159 in 32.3 overs, with Adil Rashid taking four wickets for 35 runs.

Jofra Archer took 3-34 and Jamie Overton claimed 2-33 as the home side slid from 1-60 in the 12th over to all out.

Lance Morris made his first appearance for Western Australia in 20 months after recovering from a serious back injury, and he took 3-29 from 10 overs.

Morris removed England opener Tom Banton with his second ball of the match, and he also dismissed Joe Root for 13.

The match drew a crowd of 5055 fans to the WACA Ground.

The result was a useful start to England's white-ball tour of Australia, which includes three one-day internationals and five Twenty20 internationals.

The first ODI is at Perth's Optus Stadium on Nov. 13, the second at Adelaide Oval on Nov. 15 and the third at Bellerive Oval in Hobart on Nov. 18.

Practice matches like this one give squads a chance to test form and selections before official series begin.
