Israeli forces and settlers launched seven attacks on Palestinian farmers in four West Bank governorates between 6 AM and 6 PM on Wednesday, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Wednesday.

The attacks, documented by the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission (CWRC), included bulldozing agricultural land, uprooting trees, demolishing structures and destroying water tanks, detaining farmers and denying them access to their land, and releasing livestock into olive groves.

In Jenin, Israeli forces began bulldozing large tracts of olive-planted land in Tura village without prior notice.

In Nablus, four people were detained while picking olives in Burqa town, and colonists razed olive groves in al-Qalila and Ras al-Ain.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces bulldozed a half-dunum plot of land in al-Walaja village, uprooted over 50 olive and almond trees, demolished a retaining wall and staircase, and destroyed water tanks.

In Ramallah and al-Bireh, colonists released livestock into olive-planted land in al-Mazra'a al-Sharqiya and Kafr Malik, and prevented farmers from harvesting olives in Turmus Ayya.

The CWRC stressed that these attacks target not only farmers but also the foundations of Palestinian agricultural activity, including decades-old trees, irrigation facilities, and infrastructure.

The commission warned that continued attacks threaten to expand the area of land that Palestinians are unable to cultivate.

The CWRC called on the international community to take effective measures to halt these attacks, protect farmers and their property, and hold perpetrators accountable.

The olive harvest season is a critical time for Palestinian farmers, who rely on olive oil production as a major source of income. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has led to ongoing tensions and violence in the region, with Palestinian farmers often facing harassment and attacks from Israeli settlers and forces.

The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission (CWRC) is a Palestinian organization that documents and responds to Israeli attacks on Palestinian land and communities.

Its efforts aim to protect Palestinian rights and promote resistance to Israeli colonization.
