Israeli authorities have issued tenders for 91 settler housing units in the Oranit settlement in the occupied West Bank, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission said on Thursday.

The settlement is built on land belonging to the Qalqilia governorate, and the tenders include 86 units in a multi-story residential project and five units in a low-rise project.

Tender No. 224/2026, published on Nov. 5, covers four residential complexes with 86 units, with submissions set to open on Nov. 15 and bids due by Dec. 21.

The commission noted that this tender was published before its detailed documents were available and before bidding opened, so it counts as officially announced from the date of publication.

Tender No. 228/2026, published on Nov. 3, covers three complexes with five low-rise units, with bid submissions scheduled to open on Nov. 16 and close on Dec. 29.

The detailed documents for that tender had not yet been published as of Nov. 5, the commission said.

The commission said the two Oranit tenders together cover 91 units across seven residential complexes.

It stressed that the figure refers to units in the announced tenders, not to units where construction has begun or contracts have been awarded to builders.

In a separate development, Israeli authorities revised the timetable for tender No. 460/2025, which covers 2,167 settler housing units under the E1 project east of occupied Jerusalem, near the Ma'ale Adumim settlement.

An update dated Nov, the commission said.

5 postponed the publication of tender documents and the opening of bidding from Oct. 25 to Dec. 1.

The submission deadline was also extended from Dec. 21 to Dec. 28, the commission said.

The commission said the changes affect only the schedule and do not amount to a cancellation or a cut in the number of planned units.

The two E1 tenders include 3,401 units in total, made up of 2,167 units under tender No. 460/2025 and 1,234 units under tender No. 186/2026, the commission said.

Settlement construction in the West Bank remains one of the most contested issues between Israelis and Palestinians, and the international community has repeatedly raised concerns about its expansion.
