Western Australia paceman Mahli Beardman is set to make his one-day international debut when Australia meet England in Perth on Nov. 13, Cricket Australia said in a statement.

Beardman, 21, has been named in both Australia's ODI and T20 squads after making his T20 international debut in January.

England arrived in Perth on Monday night ahead of a practice match against Western Australia at the WACA Ground on Saturday.

The three-match ODI series will give both sides a chance to experiment before the World Cup in Africa in 12 months' time.

Australia have rested their senior pace trio of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood for the ODIs and the five-match T20 series that follows.

England's white-ball coach Brendon McCullum described Beardman as a fast, raw bowler, saying Australia's approach mirrored some of England's own.

McCullum, who was sacked as England's Test coach in July, said his team would ramp up its training loads before the ODI series.

He also confirmed the return of Jofra Archer, who was rested from the recent tri-series in Pakistan, where England won only one of four matches.

The ODI series opens at Optus Stadium on Nov. 13, followed by matches in Adelaide and Hobart on Nov. 15 and Nov. 18.
