Australia's historic South Africa tour pushed back a week in 2027
The tour now starts March 24 and runs to April 18, with three T20Is, three ODIs and one Test, after the Women's T20 Champions Trophy moved.
Australia's first bilateral tour of South Africa in early 2027 has been rescheduled after the ICC moved its inaugural Women's T20 Champions Trophy, Cricket Australia said in a statement on Monday.
The tour will now begin on March 24, a week later than originally planned, and two venues have also changed.
The ICC moved the Champions Trophy from its original June slot to February 2027, earlier this year, to make way for an Olympic Qualifying event.
That change had already forced Australia to reshape its home summer, with T20Is against New Zealand brought forward to last month and the ODIs against the same opponent pushed to the first 10 days of March.
The tour will run from March 24 to April 18 and includes three T20Is, three ODIs and one Test.
The first T20I will be played at Kimberley Oval on March 24, followed by matches at Willowmoore Park in Benoni on March 27 and NWC Oval in Potchefstroom on March 30.
The first ODI is scheduled for Kingsmead in Durban on April 3, with the remaining two one-dayers set for Boland Park in Paarl on April 7 and St George's Park in Gqeberha on April 10.
The Test will take place at Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium in KuGompo City from April 15 to 18, after being moved from Potchefstroom.
Newlands in Cape Town, where Australia won the 2023 T20 World Cup, is not on the schedule.
The Test will be the first multi-day match for Australia since their win over India in Perth in March 2026, and there is no Test scheduled for the 2026-27 home summer.
Australia will also travel to England for the multi-format Ashes later in the year.
